Start your Machu Picchu Tour for Full Day with an early hotel pick-up at 05:15 AM in Cusco. We will drive for 2 hours (97 km) through the Sacred Valley. Enjoy the changing landscapes as we pass small Andean villages and farmlands. At 07:15 AM, we will arrive at the Ollantaytambo train station.
We will board the Expedition train at 07:45 AM and travel to Aguas Calientes. The journey lasts 1 hour and 35 minutes and covers 43 kilometers. During the ride, we will admire the lush cloud forest and the powerful Urubamba River. At 09:15 AM, we will arrive in the town of Aguas Calientes.
Our team will meet us at the station exit and guide us to the bus terminal. We will take the Consettur bus uphill to the entrance of Machu Picchu. The ride lasts 25 minutes and offers great views of the jungle and peaks. By 10:00 AM, we will enter Machu Picchu and meet our professional tour guide.
Our guided tour of the Inca citadel will last around 2 to 3 hours. We will explore the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Rock, the Main Square, and the Temple of the Condor.
