Explore the magical city of Cusco with our Cusco City Tour, the perfect way to begin your adventure in the Andes. Wander the cobblestone streets of the ancient capital of the Inca Empire while discovering historical and cultural treasures.

On the Cusco City Tour, we will explore the heart of this historic city. Here, ancient Inca culture mixes with colonial influences. Our expert guides will lead us to the key archaeological sites near Cusco. They will help us feel the essence of its rich history.
Together, we will explore important landmarks that show the amazing architecture of the Inca civilization. Explore together how Spanish colonization influenced Cusco, beginning at Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, in the city center. There, we can see how colonial and Inca styles blend in the surrounding buildings.
Our adventure begins at Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, where we will see how Spanish and Inca styles mixed in the buildings. Next, we will visit special places like temples, fortresses, and old gathering spots to learn why they were so important to the Incas. Our guides will share fascinating stories that highlight the rituals, history, and engineering feats of the ancient Incas.
Throughout the tour, we will be amazed by the impressive structures made of massive stones, perfectly fitted without mortar, which have withstood centuries of history. These ancient sites functioned both as religious temples and as military fortresses and centers for astronomical study. We will learn how the Incas used their advanced knowledge of engineering and astronomy to create these extraordinary sites.
As we go outside the city, we will enjoy beautiful views of Cusco and the amazing valleys around it. These breathtaking landscapes will provide the perfect backdrop for photos and moments of reflection. Each place we visit will help us understand more about Cusco’s exciting past and why it’s important today.
We will end the day by returning to the city center, leaving with unforgettable memories that will last forever.
We will arrive in Lima, Peru's capital, and go straight to our hotel in a private vehicle. After settling in and getting some rest, we will begin our Lima city tour at 2:00 P.M. First, we will visit the romantic Parque del Amor in Miraflores, with scenic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Costa Verde. Then we will stop by the vibrant shopping center Larcomar, built into the cliffs overlooking the ocean. We will continue exploring downtown Lima, visiting Plaza San Martín, Jirón de la Unión, and the historic Plaza de Armas. Along the way, we will admire the colonial architecture and feel the energy of Peru’s largest city. We will also pass through the Inca Market, full of colorful handicrafts and Andean souvenirs. Finally, we will visit the San Francisco Monastery and explore the eerie catacombs beneath—one of South America's oldest cemeteries. Around 7:00 P.M., we will return to our hotel for a restful night.
We will start the day early with a transfer from our Lima hotel to the airport for our flight to Cusco. After landing in the City of Cusco, sitting at 3,400 meters above sea level, we will take time to rest and adjust to the high altitude. In the afternoon, around 12:40 P.M, we will begin our city tour in Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire. We will first visit Qoricancha, the Inca world's most important sun temple, now part of the Santo Domingo Convent. The site still reflects the astonishing Inca stonework and alignment with celestial events. From there, we will leave the city center and travel into the surrounding Andes Mountains. We will explore the majestic ruins of Sacsayhuaman, an Inca fortress with massive boulders and panoramic views of Cusco. Then we will head to Qenqo, a ceremonial site carved into rock, followed by a visit to Puka Pukara, a red-colored Inca military outpost. To end the day, we will stop at Tambomachay, known as the Inca baths, a site dedicated to water rituals. At 6:00 p.m., we will return to Plaza de Armas in Cusco to enjoy the lively atmosphere.
We will begin the day early with pickup from our hotel between 7:00 and 7:30 A.M. Then we will head to the Sacred Valley, an essential route that follows the Urubamba River across lush farmland and Andean peaks. Our first stop will be the Taray Viewpoint, where we can enjoy a full view of the Valley of the Incas. Next, we will head to the Pisac Archaeological Site, famous for its large agricultural terraces and military and ceremonial structures. If it’s Sunday, we will also visit the vibrant Pisac artisan market. We will travel to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring local Andean cuisine. In the afternoon, we will explore Ollantaytambo, one of the few Inca towns still inhabited today. We will visit its fortress, built to control access to the valley and protect it from invaders. Later, we will continue toward Chinchero, a charming Andean town famous for its colonial church and traditional weaving workshops. Local women will show us how they use natural dyes and ancestral techniques. Around 6:30 P.M., we will return to Cusco and end the tour at the Plaza de Armas, where the night will be yours to explore.

At 7:45 A.M., we will board the Expedition Train, which travels along the Urubamba River to Aguas Calientes. The train ride lasts 1 hour and 35 minutes, offering spectacular views of waterfalls, Andean peaks, and cloud forest. At 9:15 A.M., we will arrive at Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. Our staff will meet us at the station and guide us to the Consettur Bus, which will take us up the mountain in 25 minutes. Upon arriving, our guide will lead us through a 2 to 3-hour visit of Machu Picchu, one of the most important archaeological sites in South America. We will explore the main temples, agricultural terraces, water channels, and royal areas. The panoramic views of the Andes Mountains and the green jungle below will be unforgettable. After the tour, we will return to Aguas Calientes, where we can enjoy lunch on our own and shop at the local artisan market. At 4:22 P.M., we will take the return train to Ollantaytambo. Once there, our driver will take us back to Cusco, arriving around 8:00 P.M., ready to rest after an unforgettable day.
We will begin the day with pickup from our hotel at 8:00 A.M. and head northwest of Cusco. During the drive, we will enjoy scenic landscapes dotted with snow-capped peaks, green valleys, and traditional Andean villages. Our first stop will be at the archaeological site of Moray, located at 3,500 meters above sea level. Here, we will explore a series of enormous circular terraces carved into the earth. These terraces served as a sophisticated Inca agricultural laboratory, where they simulated different microclimates to test crops. After our guided visit, we will continue to the town of Maras, known for its colonial-style streets and rural charm. Then, we will visit the impressive Salineras de Maras, a complex of over 3,000 salt evaporation ponds. Local families still use ancestral techniques to work the salt pools, and the view of the white terraces against the mountains is stunning. We will have time to walk along the edge of the salt ponds, take photos, and buy local salt products before heading back. At around 2:00 P.M., we will return to Cusco and end the tour at Plaza de Armas, where we can relax or explore the city on our own.
We will begin the day with an early breakfast at the hotel and leave at 4:30 A.M. to start our journey to the Humantay Lake. The trip to the trailhead is approximately 3 hours by car. Upon arrival at the start of the trek, we will hike for about 1 hour and 30 minutes, following a gradual incline through scenic landscapes. Once we reach the lake, we will be amazed by its striking turquoise waters, set against the backdrop of the snow-capped Humantay Mountain. We should arrive back in Cusco around 6:30 P.M., where we will rest after the hike.

Alternatively, you could visit nearby sites, such as the Inca Temple of the Moon or hike the nearby mountain of Ausangate. If you're interested, we can also arrange an optional excursion for you.
