Itinerary
Waqrapukara Full Day Tour

Early Morning Pickup and Drive to Cusipata
We will begin our Waqrapukara Full Day Tour early in the morning. Our guide will pick us up from the hotel between 4:00 and 4:45 AM. We will travel in comfort towards Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast. This will energize us for the exciting adventure ahead.

Journey to Waqrapukara
After breakfast, we will continue our journey, passing through the Chuquicahuana detour. We will drive past the beautiful Pomacanchi Lagoon on our way to the parking area near Waqrapukara. Upon arrival, we will start our hike, surrounded by spectacular landscapes. The hike lasts about one hour, taking us through the stunning highlands.

Explore Waqrapukara
We will then explore the archaeological complex of Waqrapukara. This site represents the architectural power of ancient civilizations. Our guide will explain the history and significance of the site. We will have some free time to take photos and appreciate the beauty of the place. If we opted for a box lunch, we will enjoy our meal on the mountain, soaking in the breathtaking views.

Return Hike and Lunch
Afterward, we will begin our return hike to the parking area. The hike is downhill and relatively easy compared to the ascent. Once we reach the parking area, we will board our transport for the 2-hour drive back. We will stop at a restaurant along the way to enjoy a buffet lunch.

Return to Cusco
After lunch, we will continue our journey back to Cusco. We will arrive at the Plaza de Armas by approximately 7:00 PM, marking the end of an unforgettable day.
