CITY TOUR LIMA – LIMA PERU TOUR

We will start our half-day city tour at 14:00 hrs with hotel pickup in Lima

A professional guide will greet you and provide a brief introduction. We will drive directly to Miraflores, one of Lima’s most iconic districts, known for its coastal views and vibrant energy.

Our first stop will be the Parque del Amor, a romantic park overlooking the Pacific Ocean and offering an incredible view of the Costa Verde coastline. We will admire the colorful mosaics, gardens, and the famous sculpture "El Beso”. You may take pictures or relax by the sea breeze.

LARCOMAR

Next, we will continue to Larcomar, a unique shopping center built into the cliffs of Miraflores. We will walk around this modern complex, which combines fashion, food, and views of the ocean. There will be time to explore shops or grab a coffee.

We will then drive to the Historic Center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the way, we may pass through the district of San Isidro, known for its upscale neighborhoods and green areas. Once in downtown Lima, we will begin a guided walking tour from Plaza San Martín. This majestic square pays tribute to José de San Martín, the liberator of Peru. From here, we will walk down Jirón de la Unión, a vibrant pedestrian street lined with shops and colonial-era buildings.

PLAZA DE ARMAS

Our route leads us to the Plaza de Armas, also known as Lima’s Main Square. We will explore its impressive colonial architecture and see the Government Palace, the Cathedral of Lima, and the Archbishop’s Palace. The guide will explain the historical importance of each building, and we will take time for photos.

Before reaching our final stop, we will pass by the Inca Market. Here, we may take a short break to browse traditional crafts, colorful textiles, and souvenirs made by local artisans.

Our tour will finish with a visit to the San Francisco Convent and Catacombs. This 17th-century church is one of Lima’s finest examples of colonial baroque architecture. Inside, we will explore the library, cloisters, and underground catacombs. The crypts contain thousands of human bones arranged in symmetrical patterns. The guide will share the history and legends behind this mysterious site. We will return to your hotel around 19:00 hrs. The tour ends with plenty of insights and photos from Lima’s rich cultural heritage.
