1. INTRODUCTION
GEO ADVENTURES PERU is a travel agency specializing in adventure tourism experiences in Peru, committed to safety, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. By booking our services, the client acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted the following terms and conditions.
2. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
2.1. To secure a booking, the client must pay a 50% deposit of the total service cost.
2.2. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before the tour begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3. Payments can be made via bank transfers, digital payment platforms (PayPal, Western Union, etc.), credit/debit cards, and cash at our offices.
2.4. Published rates are subject to availability and may change without prior notice until the reservation is confirmed with payment.
2.5. If the client fails to complete full payment within the specified period, GEO ADVENTURES PERU reserves the right to cancel the booking without refunding the deposit.
3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
3.1. Cancellation by the client:
More than 30 days before the tour start date: 80% refund of the amount paid.
Between 15 and 29 days before the tour start date: 50% refund of the amount paid.
Less than 15 days before the tour start date: No refunds will be issued.
3.2. Cancellation by GEO ADVENTURES PERU:
In cases of force majeure (extreme weather conditions, social conflicts, government restrictions, pandemics, etc.), the agency will offer a tour rescheduling or partial refund, depending on the costs incurred.
If the agency cancels due to internal reasons (such as logistical or availability issues), a full refund will be provided.
3.3. No refunds will be issued for unused services due to delays, no-shows, medical issues, or any other reasons beyond the agency’s control.
4. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1. The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete personal information at the time of booking.
4.2. Clients must comply with local regulations and behave responsibly, respecting local laws, culture, and the environment of the destinations visited.
4.3. Medical conditions and restrictions: Clients must inform the agency in advance about any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect their participation in the tour.
4.4. GEO ADVENTURES PERU is not responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the tour. We recommend using locks and taking precautions to secure valuable items.
5. ITINERARY MODIFICATIONS
5.1. GEO ADVENTURES PERU reserves the right to modify itineraries in the event of unforeseen circumstances that may affect the safety or execution of the tour (weather conditions, road blockages, government restrictions, etc.).
5.2. Any significant changes will be communicated to the client in advance, offering alternative solutions.
5.3. If the client chooses to leave the tour before its completion, no refunds or compensation will be provided.
6. TRAVEL INSURANCE AND LIABILITY LIMITATION
6.1. GEO ADVENTURES PERU strongly recommends that all travelers purchase travel insurance covering accidents, medical evacuations, lost luggage, and cancellations.
6.2. The agency is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illnesses, or personal damages sustained during the tour due to circumstances beyond its control.
6.3. Participation in adventure activities (trekking, rafting, cycling, etc.) involves inherent risks, which the client accepts when booking the service.
6.4. GEO ADVENTURES PERU is not responsible for delays or changes caused by airlines, transportation providers, hotels, or any external service providers.
7. IMAGE USE AND COPYRIGHT
7.1. During the tours, the agency may take photos and videos for promotional purposes. If the client does not wish to appear in such materials, they must inform the agency in writing before the tour starts.
7.2. All digital content (photos, videos, text) created by GEO ADVENTURES PERU is the exclusive property of the agency and may not be used without authorization.
8. PRIVACY POLICY
8.1. GEO ADVENTURES PERU is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients’ personal data and will not share this information with third parties without authorization.
8.2. The information provided by the client will be used solely for administrative purposes and to enhance the service experience.
9. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
9.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru.
9.2. In case of disputes, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cusco, Peru, waiving any other jurisdiction.
9.3. GEO ADVENTURES PERU and the client agree to seek amicable solutions before resorting to legal action.
10. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
10.1. By booking a tour with GEO ADVENTURES PERU, the client acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
